Aquatics
During the summer seasons, Yukon Parks and Recreation operates three unique aquatic facilities. City Splash, Kimbell Bay, and Sunrise Splash Pad provide the opportunity for fun in the sun and in the water to all members of the community! We offer several categories of group swim lessons for many ages and skill levels: Parent Tot, Level 1 Starfish, Level 2 Goldfish, Level 3 Pufferfish, Level 4 Seahorse, and Level 5 Sea Turtle. We also offer private swim lessons for ages 4 and up.

The Dolphin Swim Team is a great introduction to competitive swimming! This program introduces swimmers to a beginner friendly swim team that is meant to provide them with a fun yet competitive environment in which they compete with surrounding cities in competitions throughout the state on Saturdays. Practices are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To participate in the Dolphin Swim team your child must be able to continuously swim one length of the pool in a stroke of their choice.

Taught by certified professionals, Water Fitness helps improve your overall fitness while strengthening your heart in a fun, stress free environment. Classes consist of choreographed dances, group water activities, water walking, jogging, and deep-water toning exercises. Water Fitness is high energy, fun, and exciting for participants of all ages.
