About

Yukon has a long-standing tradition of celebrating Independence Day with a blast. As always, admission is free! Several free live outdoor concerts are on the Freedom Fest agenda, as well as food trucks, contests, kids' activities, and more. Giant fireworks shows start at 10 pm on July 3 and 4, so bring your family, lawn chairs, or blankets and enjoy!

Date, Time, & Location

Monday, July 3rd, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Chisholm Trail Park (500 W Vandament) and City Park (2200 S Holly Ave).

  1. ANNUAL HOT DOG EATING CONTEST

This is your opportunity to become a local legend and get a free lunch. Each contestant will receive a complimentary bib. The winner will be awarded the coveted championship belt. Entry is limited to the first 12 people to register, so stop by one of the community centers or go online to sign up today!
